the piggy bank
so i did it. i dipped in and bought the ticket. i spent well under $1,000 and i am officially going to england for 5 weeks.
i am sort of in shock and in need of a grilled cheese sandwich.

Wow, a plane ticket to England for $1,000. Does that include lodging, or are you doing the hostel approach?
I'm planning a trip to England, and my estimate for 3 weeks in a London hotel and flights total $3,000.
Aren't comfort foods great? You are so fortunate to be getting out of the States for a while! I'm with Mike here - does that price include lodging?
well the plane ticket was waaaay less than 1k. i will be gone for 38 days right during the peak season. i think i got a great deal. i have been scoping it out for a few weeks now.
